Fun post! Overall I enjoyed this episode but wished they’d kept the big reveal (that the historical setting was all a part of Sherlock’s mind palace) a secret until the very end. I also thought Moriarty took up too much time in the episode, and I wish he had been saved for the very end as well.
Agree with you. I too wish they had revealed that part in the last 10 minutes or so. The episode would have been so much better. Same for Moriarty. I guess the producers did not want to risk alienating Andrew Scott’s fans by limiting his screen time. But Scott’s overacting almost single-handedly destroyed the episode.
B2B.
Agreed–I think Andrew Scott is a great Moriarty normally, but he actually just annoyed me in this episode. It felt like he hijacked the storyline. Would have preferred this to just be a regular case without a tie to Moriarty.
I enjoyed it so much. Great ending.
Thanks for stopping by.
