Elephants DC would like to extend a huge thank you to everyone who attended our WILD for Elephants event, held on the evening of October 24, 2015 at the Embassy of Gabon in Washington DC.

The event followed our third annual International March for Elephants, held earlier in the day, where hundreds of concerned citizens raised their voices to end the ivory trade and protect elephants. (Don’t miss the National Geographic article about our march!)

Thanks to all of you, our WILD for Elephants event was truly an amazing evening. The Embassy of Gabon was packed with advocates, lawmakers, artists and supporters eager make the world safer for elephants. Guests bid on numerous silent auction items, including stunning art pieces, and competed for smaller elephant-themed raffle prizes.
