Finding Rover is an amazing app currently only available on the IPhone, but soon on the Droid. It uses a dog’s facial recognition to help reunite lost dogs with their owners. It was developed by none other than…a pet owner! But first, you need to register your dog’s photo on Finding Rover. But don’t worry, its free!! San Diego Animal Services will be working with these dedicated people to start capturing photographs of all the dogs at our three shelters. I wonder about cat facial recognition. Wouldn’t it recognize a cat as well?
